Why violence is so bad for children?
When I was a child my mother would not let me watch anything violent and now I'm like violent movies, Video Games and TV shows / documentaries. Why is that violence is bad for young children, and why I think so hard and enjoy the violence, although I never saw as a child?
The conventional wisdom is that for a small child to see a lot of violence, there the risk of being insensitive. Young children can not process right and wrong in social situations and relationships as an adult who may have had limited experience. If your first viewing experience include violent behavior or situations, this is normal behavior and is not sensitive to its environment. Instead, try to provide a quiet, safe for young children as they grow, to give them time to learn to deal with their environment and understand what is acceptable behavior from others. As to why you like violence? It Nobody knows – but my feeling is that you are old enough to understand and believe that is an "entertainment" for you and not an example of how to live! At least I hope you know!
